RaleyFamily: Welcome, Emma Kym!

I had the wonderful privilege of capturing a few photos of this new precious little life and her wonderful family this morning. I met the Raleys when I was pregnant with Haden. They had just had Paige (the big sister now!) and I remember following closely along with each and every new milestone of Paige's life, knowing my little guy would be following in her steps a few months behind. I was so excited to hear of the announcement of Miss Emma Kym Raley as I imagine her and my Sadie Quinn will be great friends too.

Not sure if you all know this about me, (I'm guessing if you know me personally, you probably DO!), but I married into quite the legacy of a family. The Bond family, comprised of many friendly faces and hilarious personalities! It has been a blast getting to know this family the past 8 years, who have truly welcomed me, among other "married ins" with open arms. Thank you for all your kindness and the opportunity to help capture these images for a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and grandmother in law :). 

Happy Belated Mother's Day, Grandma Becky. You and Papaw have created truly an amazing legacy!

Personal: NewYear.NewAdventures

Meet Sadie Quinn. Born January 15th, 2013, she is our joy and treasure and, along with her brother, my entire world right now. Life with two is more fun and more work than I could have imagined. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Her little smile and bright blue eyes bring me the most amazing sense of accomplishment. 

I've taken quite a long hiatus from my photographic endeavors since Miss Sadie Quinn was entering her final stage of "cooking" and was welcomed into this big, bright world. That's not to say I haven't used my camera....let's just say my two year old runs in a different direction whenever he sees a lens! However, I have slowed to a stop on my business at this time. I have plans for several personal projects in the next year and hope to restart my business at a later date, to be determined. You better believe I have lots of goals and dreams up my sleeve that require me being behind a lens, so you won't be seeing an end to my creations any time soon. :)

Personal: Fly Away

Our trip to Maui has commenced! Let me tell you, traveling with an 18 month old has a lot of challenges, but we survived! I even got a chance to capture my little guy exploring during our hour layover in Sacramento. He loved carrying his robot luggage, packed with lots of important goodies to keep him entertained! Enjoy!

How completely adorable are these two? Or should I say three! :) They are expecting their first little one coming up in December! I had a blast capturing their excitement and anticipation on welcoming their baby girl. Congratulations, Naomi and Parker!

 

 

Personal: My Little Reader

There is nothing, nothing in this world that fills my heart more than spending time with my happy little boy. I loved watching him light up with joy as we spent some time together at the library today.
