This shoot was pretty much a dream come true for me, as I quickly explained to Josie that evening- I have spent many nights driving down the back roads in our little town of Poulsbo just wishing, hoping and praying someone who had access to one of the many barns would let me shoot on their property! So, as you can see, I was SOSO excited to help Josie and Jared out and capture their adorable country love story! These two were so fun to work with. Thanks guys, and congrats!

I was so excited to help celebrate Danielle's new pending bundle of joy with her and our friends a few weeks ago at her baby shower. Then came my favorite part: the family maternity shoot, with hubby and her two older kiddos! Boy are these guys excited to welcome their little sister Sophia into the world! Life is about to get very fun and exciting for the Murphy family. Thanks, guys, it was a blast!

I had such a blast last Friday night hanging out with the McFarlane family! It was fun to go down and spend some time at the beach near their new home here on the Kitsap Peninsula. Jack has to be one of the most cooperative toddlers I have ever spent time with, especially when he found out smarties might be involved! :) Perhaps the best part though, was getting to meet new little baby Elin, born just a few short weeks ago. She was such a little angel and I even got a sleepy smile for the camera! Thank you, Lisa and John, it was great working with you!

What excitement comes with young adults in their Senior year of high school! So many opportunities and fun times ahead. I loved capturing Addie as I could sense the excitement in her voice as she told me about her plans to attend a college where she could be around horses again just like back home. Leah, her portrait buddy, was not to keen to stand and pose, so she gave me a run for my money, although her beauty was worth it. Luckily we snuck a few good ones in still. :)
