Personal: Black&White

I was privileged enough this week to win a spot in a workshop done by Emma Wood of Emma Wood Photography. Her work is truly inspiring and I was fascinated by the way in which she can take a simple image and convert it into a dramatic and striking black and white. Here are a couple of my most favorite black and whites done recently, using some of Emma's methods and some of my own as well when doing my post processing. Creative lighting is a large part to creating a striking black and white, so as any photographer, I am always on the lookout for different lighting situations I can play with.
